Job Title:
Human Resources Coordinator Job
Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks.
This position ensures efficient HR processes and provides assistance to employees regarding HR-related matters.
Classification:
Non-Exempt (hourly) Competitive Hourly Wage plus Performance Based Bonus up to 15% based on Individual Performance Company and Profitability.
Reports to:
Office Manager Key
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist in posting job vacancies on company websites and job boards.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct background, drug testing, and reference checks for potential hires.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records and databases.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee information.
Generate and maintain HR reports.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Assist employees with benefit inquiries and enrollment processes.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist in resolving employee issues and concerns, escalating them when necessary.
Compliance and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Prepare HR reports and compliance filings.
Orientation and Training:
Help organize and coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
Track and manage employee training and development programs.
HR Communication:
Contribute to internal HR communications and announcements.
Assist in creating and updating HR-related materials, such as handbooks and policies.
General Administrative Duties:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings.
Manage HR supplies and equipment.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively assist customers.
Inform customers about promotions, new products, or company updates Customer Support:
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with builds.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person, addressing their questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in HR or a related administrative role is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time May be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Working Conditions Work is generally performed in an office / showroom / warehouse setting May be exposed to elements in the yard Full time employment currently Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm (40 hour work week).
